In the primeval and tribal human society that is being portrayed here males were the hunter-gatherers whilst females were primarily relegated to being caretakers. Yet we have no choice but to play the game with this illogical protagonist even though it completely breaks any sense of immersion. There's nothing wrong with absurdly unrealistic fantasy in video games.

It's post apocalyptic, not ancient. And it's a fictionalised setting anyway, based on native American tribalism but not too strictly. We won't actually see if it's full of feminist propaganda until release.
