That was the case for me and after suffering for most of the 7th gen I decided to not buy a Sony console ever again, unless it's really fucking cheap and with tons of games.
In PC at least I have hundreds of cheap games from all gens, you're never just sitting there waiting for games to come, while in the PS3 I was stuck waiting for the next flavor of the month game and praying for it to not be crap, which in the case of exclusives, they were crap most of the time.
