If you have a Vita, it was made by the same devs as Demon Gaze, and Demon Gaze was a really weak dungeon crawler outside of the art direction. Several good ideas, but the combat and the RNG were a complete chore.
If you have a Vita, you'd better give Dungeon Travelers a try. If you have 3DS, try EO. If you've already played both. Then maybe you could give it a try.
If you don't know anything about Dungeon crawlers, starting with an Experience Inc game may give you a bad impression of the genre.

There's better. But for PC, it's quite good considering that dungeon crawlers is more of a handheld trend right now than a PC one. If you like the genre and don't own a Vita/3DS go for it.

I have a Dancer in the back row. I've given her throwing weapons which cause statuses (A boomerang which causes confuse and a throwing knife with poison) so she disrupt things.
They're also good at opening locks. They also get a skill which makes their weapon range infinite and can do a dance which can recover Morale and other things

The best time to switch classes is when you get the hourglass item at endgame.
The hourglass resets everything except your stats and skills anyway, so losing levels from class changing isn't a big deal at that point. Changing classes halfway through works as well, but your chance to hit tends to hit rock bottom if you do so it's not optimal.

So far, it's pretty enjoyable. However, I have had to start over. As someone who plays a lot of DRPGs and JRPGs and whatnot, I died three times in the tutorial.
Once I went through the first dungeon, I had a couple of my characters wiped by a monster that was unusual strong compared to the others in the area.
The controls are also a little shit. But by the end of the second dungeon I got used to them.
The game can be modded. You can make custom character portraits, and all of the game's files are arranged in such a way that I'd imagine they'd be relatively easy to modify. However, the game's level of obscurity may prevent it from getting any mod support.
Extra classes and character portraits would serve the game well, but if you want them, you'll likely have to make them yourself.
