I really need spoonfeeding and handholding as I heard there is a chance of bricking and I'm not experienced with homebrew and hacking. The only other console I've "hacked" was the PSP, but that has to be the easiest console to hack ever.

Ok I found the part you were talking about. That only applies if the first steps of that section don't work (taking the SD card out and booting without it). I had to do that at sometime and it worked just fine. You only need to boot into recovery mode if you soft bricked which, if you follow the guide correctly, the chances of that happening are miniscule.

Having to use menuhax every time I turn it on and RxTools reinstalling every time too is a small price to pay for free games. If you can launch the homebrew launcher, you still need to:

No man, it was immediately after unlinking NANDs, I wasn't sure if it succeeded and the guide told me to update emuNAND, I remember going into emuNAND and there was emu 9.2, then just to be sure I went out and into settings again and there wasn't emu anymore, but I didn't know why. I didn't remember reading it in the guide but it seems its there warning that if you leave system settings you'll go back into sysNAND.
But after creating a folder into each NAND it was easy to distinguish, also installing a theme and shit.
