Onechanbara is basically a B movie hack-n-slash. Surprisingly competent but it can get old for some.
DMC4SE is by far the most robust of the three, no doubt. However, it lacks genuine content because they never incorporated the cut content into the Special Edition a la DMC3SE's Bloody Palace. It's just DMC4 with more characters. Like DMC? Have fun.
Senran is a glorified musou/hack-n-slash with tiddy ninjas. It's a bit more mindless than both of the prior games but that might be a plus to some. There's extensive combos, you have a surprisingly decent story mode in store, and you can customize the girls to a frightening degree. It's pretty fun but you may or may not like it depending on your taste

Every combo is listed in the move-list with empty spaces showing the possible extensions of the strings and the loading screens are literally 35 pages of mechanics instruction.
The game is basically begging you to learn how to git gud at it, and it's super-refreshing.

In Burst (Hanzo route) the relationship was more law vs chaos. With good shinobi being government workers while evil were mercenaries. Crimson Squad was also a bunch of assholes in that story route too.
Things changed as the games went on. It was annoying in SK2 when Crimson kept chewing Hanzo out on accepting orders to kill Kagura when up to that point Kagura's assistant Naraku had been a insufferable ass and at one point deliberately put innocents in danger.

It seems that way in Estival, that's why I feel like naming them "Evil" shinobi is just silly. Lawfuls aren't necessarily good and Chaos isn't inherently evil. Murakumo is a "good shinobi" but she was ready to wreck innocent civilians at the slums before Yomi jumped in
Lawful Shinobi VS Chaotic Shinobi or Light Vs Shadow would have been better.
