Aegislash is a ghost/steel type with a base stat spread that is effectively 60/150/150/150/150/60 giving him the second highest BST behind Mega Mewtwo, an insane movepool with perfect coverage, a STAB priority attack and signature variant of protect which invalidates all physical attackers, which includes the majority of ground and dark type attacks and a large portion of fire and ghost type attacks. He is an excellent addition to any team, fearing only trick room, burns and heatran.
I guarantee you he could 1v1 any other video game sword.
