Healing a reinhardt when he has his shield up and is on full health. He's not a tf2 heavy.
Not switching to damage boost when your teammates are on full health
Not taking out your pistol to take shots at enemies to either defend yourself or snipe at enemies when your teammates can't reach them
This one is hard to learn. Knowing that sometimes a damage boost on an ally under fire is better than keeping them above ~75% health. They can take out their target faster then you can try and heal them. Focusing on healing can leave them vulnerable to >50 dps that you can't heal through
Guardian angeling to allies beyond the front lines that are getting shredded. Your bright golden wings are a huge "hit me" sign and you're going to go down.
Healing/boosting allies that are trying to flank or get a jump on people when your beam will be a giant indicator to enemies that there's someone there. This is usually when trying to beam across the battlefield. Beaming when behind them or within the same hidden area as them is fine.
Holding onto rezzes for the perfect 5 man clustered death. She charges them up in under a minute so you don't have to be conservative with them.
Not knowing when to retreat a fight to restore your health. It's better you take yourself out of combat for a few seconds than to keep going only to die and walk back from spawn.

I actually tend to get better results with Genji's than with most other heroes. The key is abusing the dash reset on kill as hard as you can and timing it when the enemy team is distracted. Most players can't react quick enough before you've dashed behind them double slashed them.
He can also reflect mid-ultimate which really helps. Bastions get especially desperate with their left click when they see Genji charging at them shouting moonspeak.

when you're at a convenient spot just sit in front of it and shield and have mei put up a wall to let you recharge after it breaks. i've only done this twice but we practically locked the payload in place on a certain point on the map while the rest of the team picked the other one off.

The hurtboxes of the character are bigger if a projectile is the one going to hit them.
The hurtboxes of the character are EXACTLY as big as the character if a hitscan weapon is the one going to hit them.

does the existence or non-existence of said "perfect comp" imply a balanced or imbalanced game? is it true that because there is an optimal team composition that the game is balanced because when both teams utilize it, the result of a game is boiled down to a contest of mechanical skill and team coordination, or is it the opposite and a dynamic team game requires that there be no unbeatable composition in order for the enemy to be able to abuse an everpresent weakness?

max FOV isn't always best. aiming was really weird for me until I set mine to 90 because that's what I'm used to in most FPS games
