Widowmakers and Hanzos attract the worst players by far. It's incredible just how many shitters are drawn to them. Widowmaker is useful but I'd say there is about a 70% chance that the person who picks her is complete shit and contributes nothing to the team, with Hanzo it's about 80%. I've noticed it's really hard to hear audio cues when playing with voice-comms in a full group. Many times nobody notices a backcapping tracer because the audio cue gets drowned out by everyone talking. TF2 did this better, all the audio cues were voice notifications which catch your attention. There is always atleast one dummy who will shoot you. And 9/10 times there is a delayed damage ability like pharah / junkrat, or reflex player like widow or bastion who shoot before realizing you're shielded, you can soak for minimum 50 guaranteed charge, and getting allies to tank 50 is easy if you're not playing solo.
Even then managing shielding is really easy for any non-mongoloid, even against good / average players.

Being a tank is kinda enjoyable for me. I kinda suck at aiming and staying behind cover, So soaking up HP for my team as a Reinhardt or Roadhog is my speciality. I choose Winston when I need to be mobile and to take out annoyances, such as widowmaker, and I really do well. Probably since nobody chooses Winston, which means that some people are not used to winston's fighting skills and abilities. I mean, I can pretty much take anyone down except roadhog(literally impossible even if the opposing roadhog is brainded retarded, he heals faster than you can damage him) and Dva(deals damage faster and more HP though if her mech is low I tend to go for it since she dies in a second out of mech), and reaper(pretty much 2 shots winston and has 250 health)

This. Offensive widow's priority is shutting down the defensive widow and if possible, picking off high value targets of opportunity during the opening. You're there to offer breathing space and maneuverability to your squishies because the defensive widow's priority is shutting down the enemy Mercy, enemy Lucio, and enemy widow. In that order.
Offensive widows just aren't as effective as defensive ones, but they're the only ones that can effectivley fill the counter-sniper role at the extreme ranges that countersniping action occurs at right now.

Having and offence character on defense and vice versa is ok. As long as you aren't having notifications saying that the team comp needs adjusting, then certain characters can be a great benefit. Take junkrat for example. He can be great on offense for clearing the point or taking out turrets.

It's strange, but it's the biggest counter to some of the supposed "OP" characters.
If you listen for it, you can hear enemy McCrees stomping about long before you see them. And of course they premade lines so you and your teammates will announce when they get near snipers, turrets, teleporters, etc.
