I think most people just feel the new designs are shit aesthetically and compare it to BB as an insult. Also maybe a lot of people main Sol and are used to free flowing combos you could practically freestyle half the time (once yiy understand the charscter) and still do solid damage, so when they see someone rigid and gimmicky like Bedman they freak out.
