I've only played two Muso games. Hyrule Warriors Legends and Pirate Warriors 3. The main draws that I enjoy with these types of games are the characters and the enjoyable movesets.
Does SK have different weapons for the characters or do they only have one? Are the characters fleshed out in a way that I'll care about them? My main gripe with the Dynasty Warriors games were that I didn't particularly like the characters, they didn't feel "unique" enough. Like, in PW you have unique characters like Luffy, Usopp, and Brook. And in HWL you have fun characters like Wizzro, Ganondorf, and Majora.
Lastly, the only SK game I've played was the side-scrolling one for the 3DS. I didn't much enjoy that because it felt like it was just bum rushing enemies, then fight a boss, then repeat. Does the game have varied content like HW? Base capturing and missions and fun boss fights? Or is it just a simple beat-em-up with a boss fight at the end like the 3DS one?
