It had a good art style (not Dream Land 3 good, but still good), your partners were all unique and playable & most importantly each game mode had a unique twist on gameplay. Most Kirby platformers now don't experiment much in the gameplay aspect, they just add 1 big super ability (though Robobot does fix this more which is why people love the game over Triple Deluxe).

Alright, I'm interestedin Planet Robot, just tell me; is Robot an actual addition to the formula this time or just a flashy gimmick? What I mean by that is are you free to take him and use him anywhere in the game, like powers in Adventure, helpers in Super Star, and Kirby's friends in DL2 and 3, or does he have his own semi-scripted designated sections like super abilities and hypernova?

compared to Metaknightmare ultra where meta knight had sword+powers, and his sword could still trigger hammer switches, and Dedede tour where Dedede got some extra moves. Extra mode in RtDL is just less health, tougher enemies, and you still have to collect all the energy orbs.

I don't disagree with you on that, I like the helpers a lot as well for that same reason (also the Kirby recolors make it so normal Kirby doesn't change colors when getting an ability like Beam sadly) & wish they would return, I'm just pointing out how one might prefer RtDL's multiplayer over SS. If only the Gamecube game came out the way it was presented, seeing helpers again in it looked hype as hell.

Hypernova sucked. It turned enemies into 2-3 second long cutscenes and removed any possible difficulty. I wouldn't have minded if you could just walk past the powerup but you're forced to use it.

Basically the Robobot is like the animal buddies, but more forced on you & doesn't work with every ability. Difference with this and the other 2 games by the same director are A. It's not just one long cutscene & B. a decent amount of the time the Robobot is hidden in the level making it more of a reward when you explore & also makes it skippable but you miss out on collectables for doing so.

I wasn't too keen on hypernova but I didn't feel like it ruined the game, I love the atmosphere of Kirby games and the core platforming felt really solid so I was happy. Unless they significantly change the artstyle/physics I don't see myself hating it. Kirby is great because of the pure childlike fun of playing, not for difficulty or advanced mechanics, so as long as they have some fun powers and a nice relaxing feel I'll be happy.

That's fine, everyone has their preferences. Super Star is only like the newer games with how Kirby controls but the level design is pretty different due to the different games in SS requiring it. Seems like you prefer a more straight forward Kirby experience where go from level to level with some secrets to find.

I really didn't like Super Star much at all, the metroidvania type levels and stuff really turned me off.
I've only played the Kirby's Dreamland, Nightmare in Dreamland, RtDL, 3D, and PR though.
But Super Star wasn't really like any of them. Just not really what I played all those other games for.

In truth Kirby's Adventure emulates absolutely fine if you just configure the graphics properly, it prefers native resolution to certain upscaled resolutions.
All the other games play just fine too, and is actually a testament to how damn good of an emulator Dolphin is.

I seen that post, normally I could agree on that but in Super Star's case I don't since the game has multiple games in one & most of those smaller games got turned into full fledged ones (Like Amazing Mirror being a full Great Cave Offensive game & etc.) Basically Super Star can determine what you look for in a Kirby game so you know what to go for next. Starting from the very beginning or at least Adventure does work as well though.Not like it's a big deal though, like the chart says on the bottom left, they're all great games.

How Kirby controls isn't the only aspect everyone will like, some need accompanying things to know what game to move onto next (but if it is just the gameplay, Return to Dream Land would be fitting for them).

I should start learning how to program because considering my current situation it's the only thing I'm able to do at the moment that can give me any sort of future but I never start doing anything for any particular reason despite knowing this is the only path I have and I have one friend more or less very high up who's telling me to move my ass to it because that's where the future is and another friend who wants me to start because he's worried about my future and situation and wants me to do something so I can get ahead but it looks so complicated and hard and I don't understand anything and I'm scared of trying and not being able to understand and failing so I'd rather just hole myself into my cocoon and do nothing at all because I fear being too dumb to understand it and botch it up.

In this situation, I would recommend many different things. I'm not completely out of the same line of thinking you're in, but I have come a far way by doing what I'm recommending to you right now
If programming is seeming daunting to you, then start small. Read or listen to some documentation, tutorials, education tools, and the like in order to get a strong grasp on it conceptually. Also, try to do a small project every once in a while, let yourself make mistakes as that's the only way forward.
Now, I'm not focused on the programming aspect, but I still know a little bit of my stuff. Set up flowcharts of the processes you want to do with your programming, if you have issues, voice them aloud, even if it's just to yourself, as this can help you find what's wrong, or maybe even simpler ways to handle something.
If you aren't already, seek support. This could be friendships, therapy, anything, and it doesn't have to be only one or the other. This can help you out a great deal with your own personal barriers.
Lastly, and you're going to have to trust me on this, pick up or try other creative pursuits. Writing, drawing, music, anything you can do on a computer. In fact, it also helps to just explore the world in general. I've tried to draw for days on end, it didn't work. But now that I'm trying different things, I feel more confident in my own drawing to actually work on it. And doing other stuff could even improve the skills of what you really want to do. I've heard of sculptors who took breaks to do things like painting, and when they returned to sculpting they found they were much better.

I never considered the option of trying more than one thing to avoid burn out or something like that.
I've always wanted to try drawing too but I feel like it's too late for me to learn how to at 23. I have zero experience and there's so many other good artists out there and I feel like I would be playing catch-up forever. It's discouraging and like it'll be a waste of time no matter how much effort I put on.

Poison is more about setting traps than Water's more mobile approach to combat. The only things they have in common are the up-b and dash attack. Still have no idea why the hell they gave it a pummel, though.
As for lack of Beetle, the developers said they wanted to go for a more Sci-fi feel with Robobot as opposed to Triple Deluxe's flowery fairy-tale aesthetic.
