OoT had a lot of dungeons, but most of them were shit.
As Wind Waker and Majora's Mask showed us, it's about quality, not quantity. A Link to the Past is the only game to have a high quantity of high quality dungeons.

I hated Master Quest fire temple.
Master Quest water temple was easier then regular water temple.

Fuck master quest fire temple. I dont remember what it was, but there was something that got me stuck on that temple for a good day. I can't remember how I figured it out, but it was something very annoying and obscure.

I like it, because it feels like a place that could have actually existed in the world. That massive room, with all the fire traps and shit, it looks like it could have easily been used for a room of worship to gods. Plus, all the cages mean it also served as a kind of prison, perhaps for ritual sacrifices.
It's what i like about OoT, the temples feel like they could be real. It's easy to imagine they were in use for a long time before Link showed up. The other Zeldas don't give me that feeling.
When I step into the forest, or fire, or shadow/spirit temples I really feel like I am stepping into ancient Hyrule history.
