For me its the way that they are explained mostly. Once i drill it into my head with sentences and stuff it makes sense but initially it means fuck all. Its just small shit like how they can mean multiple things and the only way to know which it is is by doing it enough to know the context even if its not clear. Im sure learning shit like is, it, those, ect. are just as hard if not harder for people who already know another language.
It's also how i keep trying to translate everything when i should just take the meanings for what they are.
