I just figured that it was so bland that having any feelings towards it at all is just a waste of energy.
It's boring and lacking inspiration, but not really insulting.

I GOT enough on my plate as it is.
Everyone loves it and the only people who "hate" it (because no one who's played it hates it) are too poor to afford it and just want to feel like they're better than millions of people having fun playing what is, for all intents of purposes, 2016's game of the Year.

It's just boring. All the characters do the same thing; even if they have different abilities, you almost always just march up to the point and depending on your hero picks, get stomped or stand around while they respawn.
I honestly wanted a game to replace TF2, and I simply don't have nearly as much fun with this one. Also the community is complete and utter shite, it's just tryhards who complain about X hero being overpowered, and getting salty in chat. The reddit users are even worse, it's such a fucking stupid circlejerk over this overhyped game there.
Also microtransactions, seems like a bit much for a game I already paid $40 for. If there were actually more content, that would be one thing, but there's nothing here. I seriously hope they give the other heroes for free, because for $40, the bulk of the content in this game is just character sprays.

Character balancing was not done after open beta for some retarded reason. Obviously zenyatta and Dva's roles can be better played by other characters, but no balances were made.
I bought it, but it's really just a casual time-waster whenever I just want to dick around a little bit. Otherwise I'm still playing freaking Skyrim modded to hell along with some backlogged games.

This is something I really hate. Characters like Dva are just not thought through. She is a tank that can't tank, She has high health but a huge brit box so basically has low health, only has one movement ability yet is slow as fuck all the rest of the time and guns with no range. There is no point playing her as a tank or as a harasser
I also hate how heavy counterpicking is. If you chose the wrong class no amount of skill can overcome some situations. At best you can press Q if you have it.

I've been spending some time trying to learn D.va and have been having a lot of success using her to fly into the back line or into corridors I know flankers and snipers use, getting in close to wreck then retreating. No, it's fun for you for 3 days. It's funny because I bought games praised as amazing like The Witcher 3 and couldn't get into it, stopped at 5 hours in out of sheer boredom. Yet I put hundreds of ours into Red Dragon, New Vegas, and probably this game too.
It's personal taste. I can't stand TF2 or Dota 2 anymore, but people still play those every day of the week.
I'll still get more hours out of this than Dark Souls 3 which cost $20 more, but Dark Souls 3 is still better than OW. Different games do different things.

Gunplay feels floaty.
Guns doesn't have the same feeling as using real guns, but rather feels like using nerf guns or those cheap water guns. Can't exactly pinpoint the spot but sound effects is one of them.
All the Maps have bad design.
Game is only enjoyable for 5-20 minutes.
Characters are not so memorable for me in game, outside from their appearance. They don't quite interact each other and the environment that well.
No custom maps and servers.
Maximum of 12 people per game. This is a big deal for me because back when I heard the game during its early development, I was thinking that the game can support more than 12 people per game, just like with other shooters like TF2. The moment I tried the beta, I was disappointed. I know Blizzard made the game around the 12 people idea but for me, it wasn't a good idea. It made me think that A.) They made the game to please E-sport fans/players and B.) They are shooting themselves for no Goddamn reason.

That doesn't make sense. If Dota is monotonous to you, Overwatch will be ten times as monotonous. It's weird how Overwatch tried to find a middle ground between TF2 and a MOBA, but they took the elements that mesh together the worst.

Really don't get where the microtransaction bullshit people are spewing comes from. It's all cosmetics that are unlockable as you level and you can use the ingame money to buy specific ones you want as well. Back in the day, this was common as you were playing to unlock extra goodies. I do kind of wish we got some coins after every match though instead of relying on random but whatever.

Now that Battleborn has reduced to the same price as Overwatch, there's absolutely no reason for Overwatch to exist. Battleborn gives you a campaign, co-op, and many game modes, where as Overwatch is an overpriced multiplayer/online-only experience. Battleborn was already a better value at its original price. Just to put in my thoughts about the game. Its fun if you can find a character you enjoy however after playing the beta every day for the length they allowed it got kinda boring until I brought in friends to play with and I switched characters to an exciting action packed character like Winston.
Most of the characters are super bland that get really old after a few games. The characters that allow the most movements, quick flick responses, and adrenalin pumping action is what kept me wanting to play.
Winston was one of those characters because you are moving, jumping, and constantly trying to avoid death from stronger characters. Playing as a tank is slow and boring. Same applies to pretty much every other character the movement is to damn slow.
