I feel that the biggest problem with Overwatch right now is that it still leaves characters like Widowmaker and Tracers who can essentially do their jobs without a team.

What kinda' worries me thus far is that it seems like Blizzard have only manage to make ONE good tank.
Hell Reinhardt is the only character who even FEELS like he was built to tank damage for the squishies.

You get bored because of how shallow the gameplay is
It is supposed to encourage people to stick it out, but it just makes people want to quit when #1 happens. It's not like TF2 where joining mid match isn't damning to your experience. Joining in the middle of a match in progress, a ~10 minute match, it feels shitty. Granted the short times mean you get to start fresh, but again exhaustion is a problem. Play any game long enough in one sitting and you get exhausted. Overwatch has so many issues to expedite that feeling.
I should also note that characters are fun to play but the shitty and bland map design paired with boring game modes feels stifling. Incoming car analogy, its like driving a super car on a city street.
The game needed and needs more creative game modes.
It needs the quick play as it is now, QUICK MATCHES

I don't know. During open beta I had zero problems. Since release yesterday I have not been able to stay connected to the server for more than 5 minutes at a time. All of a sudden my RTT jumps up to like 400-500 and I lag out, followed by being disconnected. A lot of other people are having the same problem and Blizz claims to be working on it but I sure wish they'd hurry the fuck up. I haven't played a single problem-free match yet.

I main flankers like Tracer and Genji and often insta-lock as them at team start to let people know who I want to play them, but look over the team comp as it builds and will settle for playing more mobile characters of other roles like Lucio/Winston/D.VA if the team comp is too fucked up.
The awful thing though is that most people who play flankers are fucking awful. When I'm not playing one things like Bastion are a nightmare because our Genji is fucking useless, or nobody is killing their Mercy, etc. So I have to meet halfway by aggressively flanking with Lucio and Winston and doing their job for them.
Flankers are a dime a dozen but what makes it really painful is that it's the role that you will notice a bad player immediately. Way easier to be a healbot with Lucio/Mercy or hold right mouse with Rein but baddies will never play those characters because they want to be MLG.
Also, there's a special circle in hell for people who see another character is already on your team and then lock into it anyway. Especially when it's Hanzo/Reaper.

I really think it's all about the length of the matches.
Balanced metas formed in LOL because investing 40 minutes into a losing match wasn't fun for the losers.

Backfield Bastion on attack is still very good as long as the Bastion is on point and constantly moving. A good Bastion on attack can make it ridiculously difficult for the defending team to regain momentum.

His recon mode gun is very close to Soldier's in DPS and higher than most of the cast. It's less accurate at range but with the distance you'll be fighting in Recon mode this doesn't matter much. Added with his larger than normal health and some of that being armoured he can easily win a lot of 1v1s. He's the bulkiest character in the game after the tanks with good damage output too.

I tend to focus less on killing Roadhog and more on just using him as my own personal Ultimate battery, then use the Ultimate to either kill him or his teammates.
