Bruh, for every hive world there are a dozen agri-worlds supporting it where its just a bunch of farmers and their families doing regular labor. There are feral worlds which are completely untouched by the rest of the galaxy and only know their primitive life. Ever since jeedubs stopped using pewter for models there aren't really any hard-to-assemble models. And with a few guidelines itse not too hard to get tabletop quality paint jobs done yourself (unless you're doing something like Dark Eldar or Daemons).
If you want to play I'd recommend waiting until the end of summer. The rumors of a new edition or a more streamlined ruleset will have settled out by then.
