Seriously loved every moment of Yakuza 5 and it's now my favorite game in the series. The story wasn't that great, but all the side content was so awesome. It's sad we won't get a packed Yakuza game like 5 ever again.

I played the PS3 HD version but those are Japanese only. As far as I know Yakuza 2 emulates perfectly so you should mess around with the settings.

Anyone else a little disappointed with Shimada? His moveset wasn't too satisfying to me even after getting a bunch of upgrades, and the weapon focus wasn't my cup of tea.I was also wondering why he was even in the story at certain points, but the baseball corruption subplot was cool.

It emulates well enough. Only got some dodgy artifact around the edge of the screen. Some sort of glowy effect.

Plus, with Akiyama now becoming a total badass, he's a nice change of pace by not being some unstoppable fighting machine. Makes those smaller scale conflicts still mean something.
