Yep. They should go the way of Budokai Tenkaichi 3, OR AT LEAST Budokai.
The only thing which was really enjoyable in Xenoverse was the own character creation, but it lacked a whole lot.
It needs more races, more transformations (shit nigger, the golden hair of SSJ is just that. Golden hair. It doesn't change, it's just a recolor of the normal hair. Why?), more clothes (the moviepack, which everyone got for free, is the best stuff ingame). More of everything plus a good combat system and you're ready to go.

Come on, be reasonable. There's 47 characters in Xenoverse, and they all have unique animations and movesets (as opposed to BT3, which had shared moves and combos across the majority of characters). I'm going to assume that they'll try to double the roster from XV1, so we might see 70-80 if we're lucky. That's more than enough to hit all the important characters and movie villains that XV missed out on.

The first part is Xenoverse 1 or 2? Because if it is the new game...
Xenoverse felt like an unfinished proof of concept. It was fun. Character creation is the best there ever has been for a DBZ game, even though it was still lacking. The social hub was cool; people spent time in Toki Toki just doing stupid poses together.
Under all of the fluff there needs to be a deeper game. Combat was fluid, but over-simplified, and ults lacked balance. Also, the World Tournament option turned out to be a giant farce. We had to wait like, what, a year before that shit ever opened?

Who else remembers the fan made DMZ game that was a TFC mod? Shit was tight. All of the characters had unique fighting styles and supers, some beam attacks could be controlled after you fired them (like in the fucking manga), destructible environments, and even beam/melee struggles. All in a fan made mod.
I thought Xenoverse was the best 3D DBZ game. I much preferred it to the Tenkaichi games. I'd rather have a new Budokai, but I don't imagine that's happening.
If it's a bit less grindy, has more customization for characters and a decent framerate, I'll be happy.
Also, fucking Ki-charging should be a basic action, not a special move you need to take. I hope they sort that.

But using the same case, RB2 is far more enjoyable as a fighter/simulator than XV.
