That whole encounter felt very real deal to me. Even disregarding how easy he was to fight.
The dialogue pre-fight, the dialogue mid-fight, and the beast like everything in the latter part of the fight. It was all very telling, conveying the image of a mighty and knowledgeable king that had fallen.
I mean, in spite of being clearly insane, he still had the sanity to actually hold and keep dialogue. Even as a beast. He most certainly stood out from the rest.

I imagine what probably happened was that his fellow royals locked him away to tend his garden with all his dragon porn for the rest of time, while he toiled away ranting about a baby that was either taken away, or in the fight depending on the developers intentions.
This could be why there are so many cathedral guards in the area perhaps, they're in defence so that his fuckery can't escape.

The ost, how it begins with the mystical, sorrowful theme, with the almost deranged begging like nature of oceiros, growing more frustrated, before it devolves into the bestial, and powerful chant in phase 2, it follows the fight wonderfully.
I like how his first phase had almost "bug squashing" like attacks, and the weird squirming moveset as he focussed on holding the baby was really memorable, but the way he almost becomes a miniature dragon in the second phase was really done well, I loved seeing him flail around mindlessly, and fly every once in a while

Somehow, Oceiros was ok with Lothric. Younger Prince was cherished as true heir of fire. You even can find his statue in Hight Wall of Lothric location.

Yorshka may not have anything to do with Oceiros, and most likely does not.
But she is most likely half-dragon. Just like Priscilla.
Priscilla is even the clue to finding Yorshka. The tower she is imprisoned to is located where the building that housed the painted world painting used to be in Dark Souls 1. You're meant to find Yorshka by taking a leap of faith in search of the painted world. But ending up finding Yorshka instead.
And in the very same tower Yorshka is imprisoned, on the way down you find the Painting Guardian set. Of the guardians of the Painted World of Priscilla.
Is Yorshka related to Priscilla? Perhaps. But no matter they are most certainly alike. That's no coincidence.
It's possible that Ocelotte is actually in, and in Oceiros' arms, but you need a magic item from a DLC in order to see and hear the poor child..

Something I've noticed, there's a surprising lack of people using Lorian's armor. Also a lack of Anri's sword.
Lorian's armor is pretty much the best without having to invest a lot into vitality, and Anri's sword heals you and does 400 AR with 40 luck, meaning you get tons of item drops.
What gives?

I think it's worth noting that before DS3 we've only seen one half-dragon, a child of Seath. Half-dragons may not be possible without Seath's sorcery-fuckery.
Now with Yorshka we see a very similar individual to Priscilla, to the point that we just assume she is also half-dragon (again, of the Seath variety, which may be the only variety). It also just so happens we also see a (completely insane) human who has been turned into a Seath-like dragon and may be missing a child.
Yorshka is obviously wrong in thinking she's another child of Gwyn and is basically copying Gwyndolin word for word, having been taught by him even.
There's a lot to say that Oceiros isn't holding Ocelotte (and thus, Ocelotte isn't even present). Very early on in the fight, Ocelotte goes missing and Oceiros tries to call him back, but almost nothing has changed in terms of his stance. Likewise, the crying is completely separate to whatever is going on, continuing on even after the baby is "killed". Moreover, if the baby is still in his hand throughout the whole first part of the fight, then why is he looking for him?
So basically, I'm saying Oceiros lost Ocelotte to Gwyndolin (probably taken by Gwynevere) and went completely insane. Ocelotte became a "girl" or perhaps was always a girl and Oceiros just assumed he was male or really wanted to be succeeded by a son.
The only thing that gives me pause is that DS3 seems to romantically pair Gwyndolin and Priscilla, which makes some sense considering their positions in DS1.

Well, Manus was originally human. It doesn't really make sense that he would be without Gwyn and friends not also being human originally, since they all come from the same source. I think that they most likely shed their humanity when they acquired the Lord Souls which is why they don't hollow. Then you get Manus, the only remaining human, to be the progenitor of humanity while Gwyn and the others are the ancestors of the gods even though they were originally human.

It's kind of a unique mythology in these games, gods and humans aren't fundamentally different kinds of beings.
This is somewhat of a personal theory, but I don't think that Gwyn is hollowed in the game even though he looks it. There are multiple ways to interpret it, one of the compelling ones I've heard is that he's charred, having burned himself sustain the first flame. That would be consistent with his practice of burning anything he could get his hands on (just look at the mountains of ash in the Kiln). Him being hollowed just doesn't really make sense to me given what we learn about hollowing in DaS. It isn't supposed to affect gods at all. The appearance of Gwyn in the final encounter is pretty ambiguous though, I think there's a fair amount of speculation surrounding it.
