Why did they had to do this? Its probably going to be another 3 or 4 years before we get TES VI and until then we'll have nothing but a shitty Fallout game that i doubt mods can fix.

The story was mediocre. I thought the environments were varied and interesting enough.
The real issue is that the game is unplayable unless you mod it. If they would just include custom difficulty sliders in the next Fallout they release, I'm all good with that. If they added:

>An honest thirst/sleep/food survival system

Even FO3 wasn't THIS watered down. I can't even bring myself to begin a second playthrough, the first was such a letdown. I'm simply shelving the game for maybe a year or two while we start to get some legit monster/spawn/weapons/sex mods up in there.
