Squeak Squad, the Halberd is magically rebuild, but there's no Captain Vul or Meta-Knights in sight. He seems like some lone hero more than a disgruntled leader of a knightly order, he seems less angry and radical, even though he should be more fucking pissed off than ever, he should want revenge against Kirby personally now after Revenge of Meta Knight. He'd be perfect as a recurring enemy who's also another good guy, not a friend.
Return to Dream Land, they threw their hands up and said "fuck it, they want to play as Meta Knight, they don't care how he's presented, just fucking throw him in there"
