HrtP is the only one that is truly not worth playing since it's not even really a shmup. The PC-98 games are actually pretty fun, they're just very dated (obviously) and have barely any connection with the Windows Touhou universe. I played through all of them when I was first getting into Touhou because I am autistic about doing things chronologically and I don't regret doing it, they're good games and they're a nice little primer for the "real" 2hu.
