The blast at the HQ could've triggered a reaction to the modifications in Reaper's body that turned him into a being that is constantly between life and death. Why are people suddenly forgetting that Blizzard games have always had strong, exclicit themes in them. Everyone's referencing Widowmaker's mindbreak as if she went through the same kind of mindbreak you see in hentai. Her case isn't even close. Alexstrasza, a world of warcraft character whose past that she literally captured and forced to be a breeding mother to create dragon mounts for their army. She was also tossed around and at one point given to high orcs to perform whatever they wanted her to, along with a magical item that forced her to do every action they wanted. She escapes years later and blah blah blah.
Widowmaker's case is nothing compared to the others. Also, if you don;t believe me you can check all her wiki pages, google around for other sources and other shit to find the proof.

I feel like they handled the character's pretty bad. Widowmaker's opening and closing monologue is more lame then threatening or mysterious and the death of robot Gandhi was made laughable due to the overtly exaggerated mouthing of "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" by that one civilian following his death. Tracer was alright, she really didn't do much but this was Widomaker's trailer not her's so that's fine.
But yeah for a trailer that's meant to get me to care about the character's I'm not really interested. Sure the fight seen was cool but Widowmaker herself seems like a 14 year old's idea of what a cool villain is like.
