Got bored after 6 hours
It is a good game, I won't deny that but at the same time the gameplay is just so nothing. The actual gunplay is not interesting, very few weapons feel good and there is zero choice in it. The powers are a neat idea but I dislike them being on a timer instead of having a character that is built around using the concept a lot and thus lead to a deeper play style. The charge up to get potg button is a horrible feature.
What I really disliked is the complete lack of skill. I am awful at first person shooters, I barely play them and I was still dominating in this game. That is if I had the right character, cause the characters aren't designed around you getting skilful with them but just making a counter pick and easily mowing down your enemies. A game like that just isn't fun for a long period.
I think casuals will love it and it will sell very well, but I think this will be like mobas where is just passes me by

I was really busy this past week (finals for me/my students is shit) so I didn't have any time to play it, but from what I've read on /v/ the waifu I would have bought the game for, Symmetra, is complete trash.
I like brown girls and prosthetic limbs so her design is instant boner material but if the main character I'd want to play is shit I don't think I'm going to buy it until there's a pretty decent price drop.
It's no secret that Blizzard games have gone down the shitter for the last couple of years. Then act like the people refusing to pay too much for a game is what is killing gaming. Keep buying games with no content for higher prices and they will keep asking more for games with no content. TF2 is Free with optional Micros with over 50 maps ( I stopped counting at 50 ) and community server with custom shit out the ass. Counter Strike is $15 with cosmetic micros with around 20 maps and community servers with custom shit out the ass. Even HOT is free with character rotation or some shit. This game is 40-60 bucks with cosmetic(?) micro. Biggest problem is when you force a higher price tag on a multiplayer only game, you reduce the fuck out of your player base. Which then means that you are already forcing a worse gaming experience on your players.

The wall hacks are abilities, on par with any other thing that would give sight in other MOBAs (I know Dota has puck, zeus, sniper, and beastmaster who can give vision of the enemy well). Both types of wall hacks in the game don't last very long, and are stuck to two sniper classes, with one of them having to get their ultimate to do it.
The fast kill-speed does well for the pace of the game, so the one-shots don't bother me unless it's with someone like bastion's turret mode that has no ramp up and fires so quickly. I don't mind ultimates being one-shots because they require some form of aim and can be countered easily. Mei's ult is probably the only one that I really have a gripe with because of the big AoE and the long ass stun. I also wish I could run around the maps alone. The games go so fast it's all a blur and I don't remember a single map layout despite having played like 20 hours of it by now. The health pickup location can be really vital to know.

Nope. They're also all great to look at. The maps are designed to be played in two rounds, where you play once as offense and once as deffense, so being "D-sided" isn't a real issue.

Did you even play it? It runs amazingly well and it's really fucking optimized. It runs better on my Machine than TF2 does. I get a solid 130 FPS in OW and about 45-200 in TF2 with wild fluctuations, tending towards the lower end.

At first I wasn't so sure wether I liked it, but once I got past the first 20 cancer levels I got matched up with non autistic players who picked useful heroes instead of their mains and there was actual teamwork.

I've played Overwatch and i liked the core gameplay (even though it's not worth it's money, probably), i liked the visual style. I've read the character lore. I've watched the shorts and 've read the comics. I just could not see anything creative there. Not a single character concept, that's not a stamp, beaten to the ground. It's a coldblooded sniper, cool sheriff-guy, incredible hulk, edgy-shadowy guy, the paladin... And the list's just keep going. I can say the Mei is cool (sorry for accidental pun). Lucio's concept is interesting. D.va is a charcter type that is, too, not very often can be seen. But all the others - they are completely unimaginitive. That's the whole game.
