4: A "4K mode" was mentioned, a PC setting tailored for 4K resolution with better quality textures to take full advantage of 4K (QHD)
5: Map info: maps will be roughly same size as BF4 (some bigger), but will be much more detailed with better destruction etc.

Hate aside, bf1942 is free, I suggest everyone try it out, although without mods/custom servers, it's not the same. Used to play El Alamein on a custom server with 9 planes on each team. Fucking 9, plus a bomber.

The game has a massive drop in content right at the second installment, Battlefield Vietnam. To be fair, Vietnam wasn't as massive of a war as WWII, but 1942 is in a completely different category from the rest, I feel. To the point where I'd say Battlefield 2 is basically even with Battlefield 4.
