No he said that only one character was changed into another character which only modified the intro while the rest of the Versus story is still in XV as it always was, Only Stella Nox Fleuret was changed into Luna Nox Fleuret with a slightly modified role and that only modified the intro a bit, the overall story is still the same otherwise with every other character and story beat we knew from Versus still in the game
Also those story changes happened in 2012 when Nomura was still main director, they just didn't reveal the changes until 2015.

Once you make it to Gran Pulse and hunt down the vounty targets it sure as fuck isn't press X to win. Sadly, the majority of combat sucks but the hard boss fights were really fun. Honestly I don't even know. Probably last year when the PV2 came out for P5 and everyone on /v/ was massively hyped, myself included.
I think that PV still has more views then any single FFXV video out currently, however FFVII Remake is far more popular then both (13 million views for the e3 trailer alone.)

I think it goes with the theme of boring day to day life they're trying to convey, and there are still detailed npcs in a lot of scenes, and even the npcs there.

Why not show some gameplay (7-10 minutes of uninterrupted gameplay is not asking too much), such as an early game dungeon, a boss, a primer on the combat system and whats new? Perhaps detail ps3/ps4 version differences too>??
