Gomenasai, /v/. We're nearing the end, guys. Won't be able to play this game again until October, possibly September, assuming it comes out at all. By the way, does anyone else think this could very well be the greatest demo ever? I mean, even if you think the game sucks, consider how much content they offered with this demo.
Should I just find my way to the end of the demo that way I can get that free dlc when the game actually comes out? I haven't been playing it much.

In the SRPG/Musou version of Ni-Oh, which is the closest thing to the original script, William was taken in as a child alongside his mother by an unknown Samurai. That's probably where the Eurasian stuff comes from.
However going by the demo it looks more like it's just William Adams. Zipangu is one of the European names for Japan at the time and the corpse you find outside the boat is dressed like a Dutch trader.

Sword best weapon. I had my fun with the axe, but you can't beat speed. I knew I was doing ok when the game told me I couldn't pick up anymore whetstones. But Nue did take awhile, because of that grab attack.
So, as long as the Mark of the Conqueror is shown as purchased, I should be good? There's no other place to see it except by pressing square on the menu (that I know of) and I get nervous that it won't be there or something lol.

Low stance and triangle is super easy modo with sword, especially if you have that move that restores a little ki when you push X. I became a little too dependent on it, which is a shame because it fucked with my ki pulse timing after I had gotten better at timing it perfectly to recover the right amount of stamina

The guardian spirits being freed from bosses thing was just something me and another guy were theorising a few days ago, just on the basis that the pink fairy in the TGS trailer and promo art looks almost like a good parallel to the creepy crow lady demon in the TGS trailer (Plus Raiken could be linked to the Nue and Isonade to the gelatinous sea monster), there's no official mention or vague statement from KT that inferred it or anything.

Mostly tards who don't understand that you don't always need to be locked on to him during the dragon form or else the camera will spaz out. My biggest problem is that I played with an Ultra Greatsword and almost every boss after Pontiff Sulyvahn has very few openings where you can swing your sword and still back out of danger. Never had that problem with the other large weapons in the other Souls games and BB.

Just always strafe to your left (his right) and be ready to keep close. When he powers up for the lightning mouth blast, Dodge into his right side and wail on his head. Be ready for him to do his two-part swipe after, which means save a little ki. Also, after his two-part swipe, he sometimes finishes off with a lightning roll, so be ready to dodge that (don't block). For when he rains lightning down, just walk to the side and don't turn much. It's always 4 blasts. If you find yourself behind him, just be prepared for him to do a 360 degree spin attack, which you can block.

Fighting Yokai is a different deal compared to normal people. You can only stagger them when they're out of Ki, so one plan is to aim for the Ki gauge, or you can just dodge and counterattack as much as possible. They're too big to parry so you have to focus more on blocking and evasion anyway, try not to block what you don't have to since they hit heavy too.

Use Sloth Talismans, it slows everything about him down including the lightning strike timings
Use low stance dodge ki pulses to clear multiple miasmas (dunno what they're actually called) at once
Hit him with a mid stance attack or two while he's trying to summon lightning, almost always staggers, if you're not quick or he isn't slowed you'll probably get hit by lightning trying this
Use Isonade and spam when he's staggered, if you don't have your living weapon then spam until you get it then use it and spam some more
When your living weapon is about to run out use triangle and circle again to use your living weapon's special attack

It's ok, does decent damage and you can attack after it pretty quickly but you shouldn't really focus on using it too much, even though it's cool as hell. After a Ki Pulse you can sheathe with R1+O and go right into it though which is alright but again not always worth it. Good range though but just doesn't do enough damage.

Also for souls rip-off it's got very unintuitive controls, I was constantly trying to change my stance with a d-pad and use items with square.

The only 'magic' so far as I know is that you assign jutsu to produce consumables like shurikens and weapon buffs
Sheath stance allows you to assign unsheath skills i.e. weeb slashes out of sheath with katanas or poise buffs with axes
