So I will be real for a second. I grew up with dragon ball as a kid and DBZ as a teenager. We even had a GREAT dragon ball dub, way better than the first american which was complete trash. The second american dub was ok, and people like it now but still I have some gripes with the altered music and portraying Goku as superman... kind of.
So basically, I didn't watch the reruns as 90's kid did. When the dubbed season was over I had to wait months and months to watch the continuation of the saga.
There was not torrent of the movies (ovas), not even Kazaa was available. My brothers and I went to flea market to buy the movies in vhs. Surprisingly, the Spain dub had these already. Latin american version came way later.
So I also grew up with the Spain opening and dub. Now kids make fun of the dub, but I find it nostalgic too.
I say both dub versions are equally good. I lean towards latin american, but Spanish dub is by no means bad.

My conclusion is that its a bad place to live. From the rats on the streets, the cockroaches the size of my thumb, the people casually talking about sex but being scared to even put a hand on your hip, the crime, and the poverty, I don't think I'll be going a third time. You should consider moving elsewhere. Spain might be the worse country in Europe west of Poland.

No, you can't accept Spanish is spoken by a lot of people across the globe and each region has their own dialect and accent. You have to shit at each other for talking differently, like brats in the schoolyard.
I bet most of you haven't even stopped to think or research about why something has been translated that way. You don't even need a philology or translation degree, just a minimum of common sense.
But then again I see people complaining about Wolverine being translated as Lobezno while saying that Homer should be Homero. What the hell? Why one is okay but the other is not? Hell, Wolverine being translated makes more sense because it's not his actual name and reflects his superhero motif.
Grow up. The only people you should laugh at are those illiterate idiots who make egregious mistakes in Spanish despite being natives themselves. Now THAT is embarrassing.
