It makes sense from a profit perspective. The west is increasingly becoming a bigger source of income for Atlus, to the point where I'm pretty sure SMT IV sold more compared to how it did natively. They know they can expand their fanbase, Sega is experienced with PC ports, and Sega Sammy will probably want to push for more money. The things are aligned. Doesn't mean anything will come of it, but there is the incentive.
