Conserve your stamina and slowly whittle down their health. You get armor by enemy drops only and looting spots from what I've seen. Losing all your stamina in this game is horrific as enemies do double damage and you cant do anything usually leading to you dying in 2 hits.

Recover stamina by changing stance at the end of a combo (or maybe just hitting R1 is enough?), allowing you to get out a few more hits.
In any case it punishes your stamina bar if you just spam attack without ever touching R1.
Also pay attention to enemy stamina bar, use triangle near them when their stamina bar is glowing red impale them.

I love the ledge mechanics.
Pushing enemies towards a ledge has a huge pay off. If you knock them towards an edge, they start flailing their arms and eventually fall, giving you time to get in some extra hits or even do a drop attack on them after they've fallen.
Fall damage is low if you land on your feet and high if you land on your face (i.e. you got knocked off).

This also applies to yokai, allowing you to do a combo into a finisher if you get their stamina to zero. Low Stance Katana's upward X drops a huge chunk of their stamina.

Honestly, most of the game is already there. The majority of the complaints are about the balance (or lack thereof).
Random tip, shooting samurai people in the head with your bow is pretty much a guaranteed 1 shot kill.

Pretty good, combat feels nice and is a mix of a lot of things. Lock on could use some work and i hope the actual game will have some level variety and NPC, other than that i'm actually more exited than before

Game looks great. However the framer ate issue needs to be resolved, which it probably will be. The animations and some particle effects are great, too bad we won't get a PC release.

Not really actually, combat is slowish and methodical, its closer to DS1 then DS3 funnily enough but at the same time it feels nothing like souls. I mean you can spam R1 but you can easily get punished for it, combat feels a lot more rewarding when you're manging your stamnia, pacing your enemy, doging his attacks and punishing him. Shield/Block mode while circling your enemy waiting for an opening feels very cool, also changing stances for different levels of attack is also good.

Pretty much, think of each weapon type's stance being like a mode for each BB weapon. There's only three though, the fourth one (Circle) is just a manual sheathe.

There's so much bad shit about that fight. His fucking divine lightning that just completely breaks up the flow of the fight and does 1800 damage with 40 lightning resist. The ridiculous tracking on his paw swings if you try to dodge to the right, but almost no tracking if you dodge to the left. Constant stamina drain fields prevent you from keeping your aggression up. Everything other than lightning breath that he does that's punishable puts his face away from you. The arena was a huge nuisance with those unbreakable trees.
Nue was fucking awful, but he also felt entirely incomplete with how rough some of his animations were. I doubt any of the balance we're seeing now will be relevant when the game launches, anyway.

I don't love the past three Uncharted games, but the gameplay demos we've seen of 4 are promising. It seems like an improvement in every way. Levels are more open and the shooting doesn't look awful anymore. In any case, Naughty Dog is just fucking dogshit when it comes to making AI. They only know how to make scripted events and that's it. Just watch any video and you'll se how Nake is basically flying around with his rope spiderman-style in front of the braindead AI and it doesn't even detect him.
I actually beat The Last of Us on grounded for the most part except for that little segment when Winter arrives and their game design is just fucking laughable. It feels archaic and rigid as fuck.
