They do, and the moveset is kinda cool. They just do dick all damage. Even maxed out it's D D D scaling. I could beat most other dual wielders by poking but I find I have way more success with pic related. It's easily parried but holy fuck when you hit people with the thunder bolt it's so satisfying. It only hits for maybe 200-300 on MOST people but I have run into a couple people who the bolt hit for 600+

That one is tricky. If not for some helpful player messages, I never would have found it. You have to go outside of irythill dungeon to the place where these fucking assholes are. On the roof of the little church you'll see an open windown across from it. The only way to get in is to run and jump from the roof and then roll inside. The room is in there.

Demon's Souls and Dark Souls weren't about this shit. It's not even fun anymore, there's no longer multiple ways to defeat a boss, not many different viable builds or playstyles even for PvE.
Dragonslayer Armor is the king of the bullshit pile, the only attack that he can actually be punished on is his long range shield slam, everything else he'll do endless combo chains and 2-shot you or one-shot you.
So the whole boss consists of tediously staying at long range and hoping he'll do that shield slam so you can hit him twice and then roll away again.

This is the swan-song for the souls series. The last bosses may be tough but they are all completely beatable with a variety of different builds/play-styles.
I've finished the game three times. Once as a roller with no shield, once as a mage and once as a sword-and-boarder.
It may be crushing to admit that you are at fault and not the game, but unfortunately, that is the reality for many people.

Does anyone else have a camera/movement bug? What happens is your character keeps running in one direction automatically, which can be really nasty when fighting/near cliffs. You can press the opposite button to stand in place, but you can't move there until it resets on it's own. I just smash buttons until it works, resets in around 4-5 seconds.
Also sometimes when killing enemies my char freezes for a sec or two like I lost control of it, it's very subtle but noticeable.

I am at 25 Vigor and the only one that managed to one-shot me was the Nameless King and technically that wasn't really a one-shit since you can get caught in his two-hit combo and can't roll out of it fast enough because the first hit stuns you just long enough to eat the second one.

It's a pretty standard "I'm a guy with a greatsword" fight, similar to the Pontiff, and the addition of the soul spear, and homing magic missiles are ripped straight from Aldrich. The most interesting part of that fight as far as moveset goes are the teleporting and the 'you have to attack my little brother to win' dynamic, but I guess the latter could be boiled down to simply having to attack a weak point to win.

The core of the laziness comes from the fact that they didn't even bother making the caster guy fight, he's just a dps race. Teleporting bosses was nothing new at all, especially not in DS3, the "giant beam with a bad hitbox" was also nothing new, several bosses did the soul mass.

You need to remember that rolling in DS3 is way less punishing, the "mid-roll" is actually just fast-roll i-frames all the way to 70% this time, it's got the Bloodborne stamina cost so you can roll like 10-11 times. It's more reactionary in this game instead of deliberate, that worked for Bloodborne but it doesn't for Souls and it shows even if 3 has the best mechanical feel.
DS3 is easier than Bloodborne mostly and Bloodborne was fairly easy. The only boss that pushed my shit in was Soul of Cinder and that's because I have a giant habbit of just choking in any game.

I put my int up enough to use great magic enchant and use a good catalyst that gives slight buffs to spells and has A scaling.
I use a +9 refined halberd, and on a typical enemy I get about 200damage. If I buff it I get about 250-325 depending on the enemy and its resistances/etc.

Beat it at about level 90, but I spent alot of time fucking around. At around level 75 you should have enough levels to fulfill any build requirements.
Also Archdragon's Peak is probably the hardest and most annoying area in the game, so leave it to last and expect it to suck.
I basically overlevelled to compensate for it and I steamrolled the end of the game as a result, with a little help from le balanced Heavy Dark Sword of 400 AR and le balanced Black Knight Shield of Greatshield-tier stability.

Nigga, red phantom invasions are more lucrative than ever due to From finally realizing Demon's Souls had it the best and made it possible to invade in non-full HP form again, successful invasion instantly rewards you with full HP form plus the infinite red eye orb is available quite early. Hurt Feelings Police members getting summoned for defense is great if you're invading for tongues as they drop 2 tongues per kill. Hell, they even tied red phantom PvP to level reset mechanic so you can reroll a better min-max PvP build.
Also start utilizing dirty play if you haven't already. Use white branches, escape firebombs, hiding behind corners, undead hunter charms (blocks enemy estus), lure the host's group into mobs, invade in levels with good support mobs like the snow area with pyromancer knights. Avoid invading in wide open areas with no mobs as that's just asking to get gangfucked. If the host and his group chickens out just disappear from their sight, wait until they get bored / cocky and then strike when they finally think it's safe to pull few mobs.
I'm actually quite sorry for Wolf and Blue / Darkmoon covenants as their invasion requirements are way too restrictive and I've literally never been able to get summoned as them. From should just add PvP Sin / Indictment and Blue Orb invasions back as right now invading as a red phantom has zero consequences unless you're stupid enough to carry souls with you.

First:High Wall of Lothric, the area where you find the thief NPC, next to him there is a gate that you can open with the key and leads to an elevator with a lone Darkwraith. Kill him for the orb.
Next:Go to Cathedral of Deep and get to the roof of the place, the scaffolding with the big knights. There is a safe spot you can drop down from, which leads to an area with those weird fleshbag monsters. Continue on and you'll find the Fingers of Rosaria covenant. You have to have to be in the covenant (or Mound-Makers) in order to be able to use the full Red Eye Orb.

Go to back to Irithyll, one of the bonfires leads to dungeons and Profaned Capital. Once you've beaten Yhorm the game clearly points out what you need to do next.

The way I saw it was thathumans will probably end up looking like corpses for all eternity since it's their original form, but having the Fire keeps them sane.

Just learn his attack patterns and dodge. Killing the doppelganger is also viable as it doesn't have much HP. Pontiff will summon it again, but during that time the boss is vulnerable and nets you guaranteed free hits.
This boss is so fucking stupid with a pyro/mage build. It's literally based on luck whether he does a fast attack or not with how much fucking lag there is in the animation for anything that's magic or fire.

Shielding is actualy quite good if you have a good shield. You can usually just block and run around him and most of the time he wont hit you. If you don't want to use a shield, you'll just need to dodge his attacks by learning his patterns. When he summons his copy you can land free strong attacks, which can kill or cripple the copy making it much easier to manage.

Used a big weapon until about halfway through the game. Switched to a flamberge and it feels a lot better.
UGS and others are just so fucking slow and the damage difference is miniscule compared to smaller and faster weapons. The weapon art on flamberge is the shitty stance though which is way too situational.

The grab has a long enough windup to be avoidable, but you have to be looking closely to spot it. If you're in its path you're getting stabbed even if you time your roll perfectly, which is not how it should work. I beat her by just backing off long before the actual hand swipe.

And I'll tell you h'wat.
For some reason, I liked this fight so fucking much. This fucking pacing, this fucking mesmerizing moves (also ass). If not for bullshit instakill grab, it would be perfect. But the grab is telegraphed longer than it would take for heat death of universe to come. I died to it for the sole reason of her bullshit comboing it once (regular attack into grab, did not expect this).
