There are some good exclusives and great ports on the Vita, but Boarderlands is not one of them.
Optimization was awful.
Killzone was fucking great though.
Just got mine yesterday. Have a new 3ds as well. I gotta admit, the vita is such a sexy, sleek system in every way. I really hope a miracle happens and Sony takes another look at the greatness that is the vita.

Slim or Fat?

Slim. Weighed pros vs cons particularly battery life. It's actually very good. Been playing disgaea 4 and p4golden for hours at a time and haven't been past half battery yet. I only charge it every so often when not playing. I'd say easily 3-4 hours of play doesn't bring me past half. As for the screen, I heard the fat one had Better colors. Honestly, while that may be true I don't know, the slim screen is amazing esp after coming from 3ds.
The way the system looks and feels in my hands is amazing. I know it seems like I'm shilling, I guess I kind of am, but I can't help it. I fell in love with it and hope it succeeds. Gonna go grab some PlayStation classics now, I haven't had a Sony system since the ps1 and 2 and feeling nostalgic as hell.
It's a significantly better piece of hardware, and I love everything about it -- though the slim is flimsy as fuck compared to my N3DS
And yet... here I am, with almost 300 hours in FE:Fates, and I haven't touched my vita in weeks. The last game I even played was Xenogears on it.
It's a shame.

Make sure to get some PSP games, so many gems on it.
To get list so far: Deception 4, freedom wars, xcom enemy unknown, mega man legends series, dragons crown, Odin sphere (out soon), civ rev 2 plus, tactics ogre, older disgaeas, rogue legacy, terraria, trillion, suikoden 2.
The mix of older and newer games doesn't make it feel like a system with no support.
Also darkest dungeon coming out soon supposedly.

It had both Pokeymans and Japanese CoD, the 3DS was as dead as the Vita before that.

I like how a lot of indie games are on the vita. I would love to play them on a handheld.
But I don't want to rebuy a game for $15 when I already bought it for $5 on steam.

Still no GT or GTA Vita games... Why? GT PSP was awesome and it's still the only racer I play on my Vita. Is the F1 game any good?
