Lee is more associated with Takuma, who used to have a rivarly with his father Gaksuo (the KoF XIII dialog between Takuma and Athena references this), and serious Mr Karate's ending show Takuma relying on Lee for medical maintenance.

That's not what happened, people ought to check XIII's ending before saying stuff like this.
Ash rewrote history so his family's existence would never be acknowledged, but some events were rearranged to still have happened without his and Saiki's influence.
In the end Elizabeth's attachment to Ash was so great that she ends up crying for losing a person she can't even remember who anymore, and the remnants from Those From the Past gather to decide what to do now that Saiki was gone.

I didn't. I mean, I get that most people did because WOW HOLY SHIT THESE GRAPHICS ARE SO BAD THIS GAME MUST BE TERRIBLE LOL, but even in trailer 2 we were seeing interesting tweaks to gameplay that I was really invested in like Kyo's punch rekka series connecting midscreen. Even though I was aware that the graphics were unacceptable to most standards, I would have been perfectly content with that version of the game because it had been 5 years since KoFXIII was released and SNK was on radio silence, they had made a huge push to mobile and pachinko, it honestly looked like we were never going to get a KoF game ever again.
When that first trailer came out I was ecstatic. I don't think anything made me as happy in a long time. Then I jump over to twitter to see the response and I was met with a depressing amount of negativity. I was mad that I had to be mad at the XIV reveal. Maybe I was the only person who expected SNK to hit where they are at right now and even go beyond, I was never mad at this game and always expected it to be decent.

1) NEVER use qcb+P
2) Go for hcf+P grab when you see a wide opening, it's not as fast as hcb f+P and doesn't combo but has some startup invul and sets up his 50/50 reset (superjump C after the throw then dance under them to force them to guess whether to block left or right)
3) Multiple great ground pokes: st.A, cr.A, st.B, cr.C
4) Not many high-low mixup options aside from cr.B -> cr.A -> grab/super, since it's 98 and not 02 you have to practice the timing a bit for this
5) All of his jumpins are great overall so get a feel for the angles they cover, B is probably his best air-to-air (A is a little faster but doesn't have the huge up/forward angle) and C can shorthop crossup

Since this image has been getting passed around I've started to see people say that the game must still look terrible because no other game has an issue with looking good in Youtube compression.
But I mean really when you look at what is going on it makes sense. A lot of the quality in KOFXIV is in very small, very fine details. The bumps and ridges showing wear on Terry's hat, the stitching and almost denim material look to the jacket, the fucking IMMACULATE leather textures on the gloves that are showing creases and folds and accurate light reflections, Youtube butchers that shit and makes everything look like it's a solid color which contributes to the game looking like plastic barbie dolls. I really wish SNK would release uncompressed raw trailers on their website or something because MAN the difference is pretty night and day.

No, Geese is practically a grappler counter pick. Geese EXCELS at space control, area denial, anti air, and depending on which game they base him off either he'll have a DP that is kinda okay or he'll just have his counters which are still pretty good. Grapplers have a hard time getting in on Geese to actually pressure him and when they're in they still need to be careful.

What they're doing is that they're trying to stick to the 2D animation as close as possible basically doing a 1 for 1 copy, which is why some of the new characters look like they move better than returning ones since there's no previous reference point.
