if this is the case, aren't there an infinite number of realities where the radical 6 outbreak happens and an infinite number of realities where it doesn't? I mean they already pretty much said VLR's timeline isn't going to just disappear if they change the past, so who are they saving exactly? sigma and phi are really just jumping to a reality where they were successful, they're pretty much only saving themselves from living in the post apocalyptic world.
if they wanted to accomplish that, they might as well have just jumped to a timeline where Brother was never born.

The flowchart is canon too which means they have to be somewhere before they can jump to it again. They can't just jump to timeline E because they haven't been there yet. The purpose of VLR also was to learn jumping so sigma could create that unfucked future for kyle

Honestly I wanna believe the 6 people Diana see's dead are, Zero, Carlos, Eric, Mira, Q, and Sigma. The only thing is Sigma was unconscious from blood loss or pain at the lost of his eye and both arms.
