Yeah, nice one mods.
Image limit was reached anyway. Here's a ton of pictures from Asia. Most I got from the photography board so they're too high res to post here.

Holy shit I was wondering where I had seen that building before.I'm gonna build him a skate park
>The Palacio Barolo was designed in accordance with the cosmology of Dante's Divine Comedy, motivated by the architect's admiration for Alighieri. There are 22 floors, divided into three "sections". The basement and ground floor represent hell, floors 1-14 are the purgatory, and 15-22 represent heaven. The building is 100 meters (330 feet) tall, one meter for each canto of the Divine Comedy. The lighthouse at the top of the building can be seen all the way in Montevideo, Uruguay.
The lighthouse represents god, and the building is filled with masonic symbols, like every A replaced with the square and compasses.
Gotta love chunni architecture. It would make a cool setting for a horror survival. Although Divine Comedy is over used.

Kowloon Walled City. It was an ungoverned city built out of a military base in Hong Kong. It was the most densely populated place in the world, and it was pretty much owned by Triads.
It was demolished and they evicted as many people as possible, but based on how many people were in there, and how labyrinthian it was, some people probably got murdered when they destroyed it.

>Trees grow out from a river.
No.
What you see there is trees that were somewhere when it got flooded after a dam got built.
I go spearfishing in Arkansas and you see them in all the big lakes.
They don't really decay that quickly under the water, in fact most are better preserved there than on land.
They're really spooky too; for some reason freshwater is much more spooky than saltwater. Sometimes storms will move the top half of a tree that fell in and you'll run into a bunch of branches that you won't notice until they're all around you because of the limited visibility.
I've been in the water with 10ft sharks buzzing me trying to get things I've caught from me and it's not a big deal, but I have to stop myself from screaming like a little girl when I'm in freshwater and a spooky stump that has got torn loose moves a bit because of boat wake.
Some joker put a cement angel statue (like the kind a Mexican grandma would put on her lawn) in Beaver lake and I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the thing.
>>332373459
Those are actually in places in the US too. I know for a fact most of the Atlantic does, depending upon time of the year. Not as spectacular as that, but if you hit the sand or whoosh your hand through the water you will see a glowstick rave thing temporarily.
>>332381367
I can sympathize since I've gone scuba diving with manatees, it's called crystal river but both times I've gone idiots kick up mud and the sunlight makes it constantly look like there's a manatee under you until the real thing shows up.
It's like a horror game but they're the most harmless creatures in the animal kingdom
>This thread
For god's sake, why do we not have an /arch/ board?
>>332381803
I know what you're talking about with the sunlight and the water. It's a neat effect. I'm actually not usually spooked by water where you can't see to the bottom, probably just because I grew up going swimming in a canal pretty frequently, but most everyone I take spearfishing does not like it.
That said, my scariest moment (though nothing dangerous happened, just me being a little bitch) in saltwater involved manatees; I was spearfishing near an inlet in Ft. Lauderdale with decent visibility for the inlet (15-20ft) and almost died from fright when one went rocketing past me at speeds I thought impossible, and I didn't know what it was right away except that it was gigantic. I found out later they can go up to ~20mph in short bursts, but I had never heard of that or seen such a thing previously. Also 20mph seems a lot faster underwater than on land.
