The ideal choice is to find a nice, crime-free town that's maybe 30 minutes drive from a fun city like Seattle, New York, or Boston. That way you can take a bus into the city on the weekends when you feel like having a good time.
Living in the actual city is going to be difficult unless you have a decent job or are already rich to begin with.

He didn't and the castle has payed for itself due to tourism already 5 years after his death.
He also used it as a stimulus for the region because the money came from the royal funds and not the taxes or state budget.
So he basically gave royal money as a huge stimulus to the carpenters, masons and the thousands of workers involved with his projects.

Hashima was a coal mining island during Japans industrial push in the late 1800s early 1900s. It was basically a forced labor camp where a lot of Japanese and Koreans got treated like slaves. If I remember correctly I had a large female population too since they took in a lot of people from the farm lands
>>332336437
Yeah, it payed for itself because it was open to tourists and not a private residence. The dude didn't even include enough to hold court there. The royal funds were exhausted before it was even close to being done and he had to take out something like ten million marks of loans. And most importantly, he died, so he could no longer build castles on this mortal plane.
I always thought this building would look pretty cool in some sci-fi video game or anime.

I read some forum posts from a guy who was an engineer on the sarcophagus during it's early stages. They had time limits for how long you could stay in certain areas. If you were over the top for some reason the safe exposure time was twelve seconds.

That tower was South Afria's idea of a futuristic, luxury. massive scale appartment block. It was supposed to be the future.
However, the economy and the locals acting like the locals do turned it literally into a hell hole. Redmond as in Redmond, WA? There's tons of cheap places to live all within the Seattle metropolitan area, you just have to be willing to live in a smaller apartment.
Like anywhere on the west coast, anywhere nice to live is all taken by the rich people, so the cost of living is extremely high. One of the cheapest places is actually Texas, where you can get a 4 bed/3.5 bath house for like $150K.

shortly before it opened a million niggers stormed the front doors and decided WE HAVIN DIS, forced open the elevator shaft doors and used them as bathrooms/body disposal chutes because they're too stupid to comprehend how the (fully functional) toilets work
they also decided their furniture was racist so they burned it in the hallways or threw it out the windows
the center of that building had a pile of garbage that peaked at 8 meters high and every elevator shaft was stuffed half way full of corpses fermenting in a sea of human feces
bear in mind it reached this state only after a few months
theres a reason why first world countries up until recently had a habit of keeping blacks out of htem
This game would be about hiding from an axe murderer.

I lived near a Pine Tree farm when I was in High School. Once you got somewhat far from the edges it became incredibly easy to get lost because every direction looked almost identical, and when there was fog it was spooky as fuck. Kinda wish I had a nice enough camera to take some nice pictures there before I moved away.

The tunnels were old abandoned mines, and the centuries old cemetaries of Paris were so full that they were several meters above street level and bodies were caving inside surrounding sellars.
So they decided to empty them inside those big empty tunnels to make room for fresh bodies, and were creative in their disposition of the bones.
Good thread guys

It's a real world location with a real world camera, just most of the wavelengths removed.
Proper IR photography is with physical filters, not some casual digital postproc filter(there are some for that but they usually fail to brighten vegetation properly and is just some variant of monochrome)
For some dream like video locations it could fit pretty well.

I think he meant Hearst which is much less a castle than it is a giant fucking mansion. it's pretty jaw dropping though, I've been inside and it's hard to imagine people living inside it
