Generally you don't load magazines on the field.
G11 magazines themselves are incredibly compact and are lighter than standard magazines because the G11 uses caseless ammo.
The reason it never became THE assault rifle is that it was expensive as balls to make and its internals were KRAUT SPACE MAGIC and as such needed a full toolkit to fix and repair, which is a no no for any combat rifle. Other than that, the G11 took a fat shit on every other assault rifle of its time.

It's not that the standards are high, it's that the cost isn't worth the benefit. We'd have to replace the M4s, the magazines, rails and other items meant to work with the M4, tools for the M4, spare parts for the M4, possibly huge stockpiles of ammunition and retrain all our personnel to use the new rifle. When you're talking about marginally improved performance at ranges greater than most engagements take place at and maybe 10 or 20 fewer stoppages per 1000 rounds, the juice is not really worth the squeeze.

Axes typically have smaller axe faces, shorter or complete lack of spear end, useless and/or inferior spike opposite the axe face, a complete lack of distancing and blocking tool (the pole), and no jabber (bottom of the pole that it usually near the floor).
Axes are only similar in that they share the axe face. Otherwise, Halberds are superior combat weapons for those who can efficiently wield them.

Getting to a gun being stored long term in a car is going to take time in any case. And I'd be more worried about bumps and random passengers (kids) getting a hold of it and like the idiots they are immediately pull the trigger rather than the heat even if I lived in a place that gets hot. The 1911 is so fucking satisfying in the Division goddamn. Packs good punch and such a nice recoil, fuck there's even a bit of heat trail when you magdump since it's cold as fuck outside.
Thought I'd hate that the upgraded version is some tan tacticool shit but it's actually pretty nice too.
Also loved how the FAL changes to an SA58 with the folding wire stock look. Fuck I wish that game wasn't full of such garbage side content and got a bit more interesting. The gunplay and detail's very satisfying. Sound as well.
