In my own experience, of all the games I've played using PCSX2 the only one that was unplayable was SotC because it needs a super powerful PC. The rest were fine, maybe with some very minor graphical glitches here and there.
Doesn't mean PCSX2 is good. It's just the best we have available.

Simply stretching the image like pcsx2 does makes it look fucking retarded. What is supposed to look like a circle ends up looking like an oval. How can you not tell that's retarded? Anyway I don't know why people complain so much about pcsx2. If you aren't a retard who tries to use hardware rendering on every game most games work pretty well. Just use OpenGL software rendering and the newest build of pcsx2. I don't find pcsx2 any more buggy than other emulators from its generation such as dolphin

The reason why I don't install a GPU is because I'm afraid my computer will never turn on again if I do. In which case I will need to buy a new one which costs money I don't have. So yes having a GPU=rich. Now if prebuilt PCs came with good GPUs for a reasonable price then yes you would not need to be rich
