I remember there being an extra stage and the ability to play as Curly in Cave Story +. Never understood how people could play it on the small 3ds or 2ds screens... seems more suitable for the XL.

I really liked AeternoBlade, but I only got the demo and got around to buying the full version.
Crimson Shroud is also nice; I love the dice mechanic

Steamworld heist is fun. Turn base but you manually aim the guns, with cover. It's strategy lite.

There aren't enough Metroidvanias on the system. Even though it is not a Metroidvania, Steamworld Dig is kind of okay especially if you get it on a sale.

Other than that, I like the Gunman Clive games but they are run and gun games.
