Technically speaking she is a god and don't really have a gender but Amaterasu in literally everything is seen as female to be fair. Made for some great moments though like when she stare at what-her-face boobs during a cutscene. Also love how she will actually go asleep during cutscenes and the people will just keep on talking, then again I'm sure they were talking to the bug guy and not at a wolf.

Its mixed. There are constant random framerate drops on even the best of hardware, but you can play the game at a higher resolution than on the PS3/Xbox 360. However, because it was a port of the 360 version, FMVs sometimes look blurry due to a worse video format used to fit it on the 360's discs.
So enjoy higher res gameplay, but shittier everything else. Its still not that bad though. just mildly annoying.
