People get all up in arms over changes in localization and censorship, but in my case I'm more bothered by changes that just don't make any fucking sense compared to anything else. An hour (of voluntary grinding) and here's my likes and dislikes for the interested.
Likes:
Lots to explore and do. Mutiple classes, quests, weapons and all.
MMO Style gameplay. Quick travel, nicely marked minimap, do nothing combat makes grinding easy while I watch whatever on Netflix.
Off-TV play. I can watch Netflix and grind at the same time.
Dislikes:
Text is microscopic and unreadable in places. I don't have Total, I have Tolol and Tota stats for things.
No audio options. The dub is inconsistent, and I'd rather turn it off.
Horrific disparity in enemy levels. A level 60 hostile enemy next to a level 6 I want to kill is frustrating.

Wii U emulation is actually making progress lately so maybe. Nothing in game, and it only emulates the controller's screen but it can display title screens and stuff from retail games so that's pretty big.
So maybe another 2 or 3 years to get it in-game, and another 3 to 5 to get it running well.

Xenoblade and X are about as similar as Xenogears and Xenosaga were to eachother.
Xenoblade was a bit of an odd man out of ther series since it was originally designed without the Xeno- name attached but X kinda works back in a lot of the Xeno- tropes.
Saying people who haven't played blade can't be hyped for X is like saying people who didn't play gears couldn't be hyped for saga or saga for blade.
