Funny thing is that if Gai's 8 Gate thing did something to overcome Madara being so damn broken and weakened him enough for Naruto and Sausage to take down (maybe as a combo attack with Kakashi and killing Gai in the process) it would have reinforced the idea of teamwork, would have been believable, would have given Gai a glorious, blazing death of YOUTH, maybe even give a small wink to the Exam Arc theme of a hard worker going up against a genius.

It's never explicitly stated, but it's assumed that, while you need two Mangekyou eyes to first form Susano'o, once you've formed it the first time, you can re-summon it whenever you want, regardless of what eyes you do or do not have. In the mythos, Tsukuyomi was born from izanagi's right eye, amaterasu was born from the left eye and susanoo was born from the nose.
So the uchiha nose is what lets them create susanoo.

Just finished off Revolution the other day. Sad to hear 4 is going back to having UJ/Awakening/Drive types be an all in one thing. I thought it provided some nice variety. Hope they keep the Battle Orb fight mode in some way, because between those, rail actions, and obstacles shit got crazy real quick!
More importantly, I hope they don't fuck up 4's story mode pacing as bad as they did 3's. The first two games had a nice pacing between story fights and optional jobs and junk. 3 was all story until the post-game where they then threw like 50 jobs at you which was just dumb.
