They've said nothing about post-release content. Please don't spread rumors or misinformation.To be fair, Blizz will probably announce a cosmetic store sometime after release, or it'll be like Evolve (I hate drawing that parallel here but its the best example) in that the store just shows up in the full release. 90% of the content we've been given was made by the community. 6 years later and RO2 STILL has less content than RO1. The game has hundreds of bugs and several of the official maps have huge exploits like clipping through the wall on fallen fighters and going outside the map on rakowice. Tank maps have been broken for well over a year now and are basically unplayable, gumrak for example shipped with the game and can't be played. The balance is incredibly axis sided and they know it's a problem but refuse to fix it. RO2 is on its death bed, another expansion won't fix it people play RO2 for WWII everything else just lacks the depth and atmosphere of the base game.

Custom game modes, custom maps, custom zeds, and just plain mutators. The full customization KF2 will have will make the game hhave infinite replayability and amazing possibilities when the SDK is completely finished and released. Remember those cool zeds like the brute, shiver, bastard, etc? Imagine them in KF2 with upraded graphics and HoE upgrades. Also expect to see the return of classic mods like KF vehicle mod, objective mode, TDM, glass house, and maybe even KF1 gameplay mode.
And then the maps like those Arcade- maps will probably be redone since they were GOAT. Imagine Arcade-gas-station with running zeds; defend thyself has been remade already, as has a few of the classic KF1 maps. And also the custom guns that will be made, although I doubt anyone will actually put effort into making 200 FPS animations like TW does.

I spent ages trying to grab a beta key from Twitter and managed to play the shit out of the beta for 25 hours. I bought the game day 1 and I have to admit, I still enjoy it. I think it's fun, it's well made and looks great. It lost a lot of the low budget charm of KF1 but there was no way that was coming back and anyone with a brain knew that.

It betrays a probable internal thought at Tripwire that they've probably achieved enough sales of their halfbaked game, and that the steady continuous flow of money is satisfying at it's current stage, so they don't need to work or update the game regularly anymore as a means to actually earn those monthly sales.
