You're not required to grind much (late game probably some but it's certainly not a Disgaea post-game tier grindfest) as most things can be beaten with good enough dodge timing and understanding of when to attack.
The combat is pretty simple though, as the games depth comes from the stats, weapon types, character build etc. so it's a bit repetitive for some. Opens up as the game goes on when you get the tochka skills though.
There's a demo on JP PSN that has english text and audio, try it out. Alternatively wait for them to release that demo on whatever PSN region you use if you don't want to make a JP account.

From Soft really has no reason not to keep working with Sony, they get extra resources and help making games, and Apperently more creative freedom (Namco rejected the idea for Bloodborne I think).
It would suck for PC and Xbox fans, but it would probably be better for From Soft and the actual games.
Notice how Dark Souls 1 and (to an even worse extent) 2 were hyped as being "super difficult omg, hardcore" and some parts in Dark Souls 2 seemed made to fit the consenscious that these games are purely for difficulty. Wheras Demons Souls and Bloodborne were marketed off thier combat/world and enticing people with the story setups.
Obviously that was mostly ruined for Bloodborne by every single review being mostly about how hard it was, but still the difference in tactic says a lot about the respect for the game in my opinion.

I have every nintendo console up to the wii. There was a stage where I was nintendog and fit perfectly with the nintendogaf audience here. But with the wii it was when I realized I got less and less mileage out of nintendo games because I realzed I've been playing the same thing since the n64 but upresed. Put like 15 hours into mkwii, less than 10 in brawl. Never went back to get extra stars in galaxy, didn't bother with galaxy 2. I liked metroid prime 3 but other m sucked.
I'm tired of shitty 2D platformers that hinge on hunting garbage collectibles to be considered replay value. Tearaway Unfolded was awesome because it took place in a 3D world and had creative ideas attached to it. I'm seriously not trying to sound hateful but everything in the wii u library, except Bayonetta 2 since it has actual polish and effort into it besides copy pasting different colored geometric shapes everywhere and giving it a 2D camera, looks like shovelware rehashes to me.
