I have zero problems with this. I know some japanese, and every game in the original japanese is boring as fuck. Localization adds tons of personality to they game. like in Fire Emblem Awakening, everyone loved the crit quotes like "PICK A GOD AND PRAY", but in the original japanese pretty much every single crit quote is "Here I go!", "Take this!', and "It's over!" but with each character's verbal tic added to change it slightly. But spiced up translations have nothing to do with removing the boob slider, fucking assholes.

Nintendo would never survive. Because they sell themselves as the family friendly company. If they entered the same market as every other 3rd party developer, then they would get smashed. Because all the kids with parents that bought a Nintendo for them, would instead have to buy the other consoles, in order to get the Nintendo games. This will result in two things. 1. Nintendo's brand recognition tanks. Parents won't know or care what the distinction is any more. 2. Kids will be savvy enough to know they have the choice between "kiddy platformer #42", or "hardcore game trilogy for mature gamers part 3". Which ones do you think kids will convince their parents to get? Parents will think "Theyr'e on the same system, so really, what's the big difference?"
