True. But the west got all of them and got to see which ones were worth it. FF Theathrythm is the best FF game in 10 years, but we also got all the others.
We haven't gotten a DQ game in over 3 years. So we can't actually compare which are good or bad. Though in the case of Dragon Quest, there hasn't been a 'bad' game yet. Even the worst DQ game is still well above decent. Which makes it all the more stupid we don't get them.

This is the same guy who said Bravely Default made him aware that JRPGs are popular in the west. Then didn't do anything about it for over a year. So while I'd like to think Square has finally learned its lesson and will localize the games, I can't trust them just by their word. Since they don't even remember what they said.
