Mount the ISOs of 2 & 3, and then run their installers like always.
The SH1 is a PS1 rip that you gotta emulate.
The "sh2proxy" fix works as a no-cd crack as well, and is included in the pack.
In case you experience issues saving the game / not being able to edit the disp.ini, make sure the files aren't set to "Read Only", and run the game as Administrator.
If SH2 gets stuck in a black screen upon launch, close it and re-start it again.

here's the recommended emulator settings for SH1. Works great on all other games too.
The plugins used are:
-Pete's OpenGL 1.78; (more options & better performance than 2.x version)
-Eternal's SPU Engine.
alternatively just use a software renderer for very 1:1 PS1-like graphics, including 240p only.
...OR just buy the game from PSN Store for few bucks.

I do recommend playing the games in release order, if you already haven't finished SH1 that is.
I'd suggest never playing below the Normal difficulties, always adjusting down the in-game Brightness setting, and in general taking your time with the games. Also, do not try to kill everything you see, especially if you have room to leg it / can turn off the flashlight and sneak past foes.

SH1 ain't only essential considering the series' overarching plot, it's also a damn great, atmospheric survival-horror game. Also still my favorite one of the bunch after all these years; it just has a perfect balance of terror and mindfuck, best pacing and town design of the trilogy, and the difficulty's just perfect on Normal mode.
I do suggest playing each of the SH games multiple times too. Besides basic stuff, like the multiple endings and unlockables, there's also tons of small detail and info bits you tend to miss on the first run.
