va11 hall-a is worth playing but if you're in it for the yuri it's not going to deliver. best to think of it as a nice game with a touch of yuri as a bonus, but not something to base the descision to buy on.

On the topic of something that isn't inane horseshit, RPGMaker's pretty popular for yuri stuff, but are there any of note that still have RPG combat(or any combat)? Either the in-engine RPGMaker turn-based system or some custom thing like Eternal Senia with its Ys-like bumper fights?
I don't just mean some rare thing like Embric where fights were scripted events, but where combat is a regular part of the game.

Kickstarter technically forbids the funding of sexually explicit materials, but the general consensus is that if you keep it on the downlow (as in you just put 18+ somewhere and keep explicit images off of the KS page) you can get away with it. The risk of KS shutting you down or someone reporting it is still there, though. Not the person you're replying too but I completed yasmi and migiwa's good ending and their main bad ones, unlocked enough seals to get onto kohaku's route but kaya's still seems to be locked, and when I get to the branch in kohaku's route about running away or helping kohaku fight the oni that suddenly show up in the forest, both options lead to a bad game over end. I got so frustrated trying to figure out where to go from there that I've procrastinated on playing it again for a year now. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I finally finished off Nights of Azure and I have to say, the entire thing is fucking beautiful.
My favourite parts are the scene where Arnice clicks her fingers to start a gramophone playing music to make Lilysse dance with her andthe really bittersweet scene where Dream Lilysse disappears. The way Arnice leaves the dream, followed by Dream Lilysse trying to hug the air where Arnice was standing before fading away herself still genuinely makes me tear up.

From a yuri point-of-view it's arguably worse than Loren or his most recent RPGs. There's only one yuri option, and the game was written by the dev himself who long admitted he sucks at writing. As for how it compares gameplay wise, it's probably easier for you to just try the demo.

There are 5 endings.
The true ending you get when you do NG+ isafter you beat the final boss and Lilysse jumps in front of Arnice to protect her from the blue blood. Then Arnice kisses Lilysse to pull the blue blood out of her and begs the Nightlord to wipe Lilysse's memory so that she won't have to live with knowing what happened. A year later Lilysse turns up on the island as an amnesiac and as she wanders around she gets attacked by a demon. Arnice swoops in to save Lilysse and Lilysse regains her memory. Then they embrace as Arnice tells Lilysse that she's back.

Nothing much to say: it's a match 3 game that shows you increasingly revealing pictures of pretty girls as you progress. There's no story to speak of and the 30 seconds scenes where you meet each girl are the only time you'll see any kind of interaction. Otherwise it's just individual question sessions.
As for the yuri mode, the MC's gender is chosen at character creation and will change maybe 10 lines in the entire game, mostly for pronouns. Since the MC is supposed to be a self-insert all porn CGs are solo anyway, which kind of defeats the point of yuri porn.

Highway blossoms ended up being better than I expected, compared to the impressions I got from here and /evn/.
Though I think the whole treasure hunt section could have been handled differently thanAmber looking at the note and suddenly being an expert on old landmarks, figuring out the solution that no one else apparently could. Maybe being a KN hurt it here since choices would have helped make it feel like the player's the one being clever rather than Amber's divinations. I don't know, it just felt kind of cheap to me.

That's because the "Force" option is better described as blackmail for sex, so unless you use a cheat option to force up the success rate, the command only works on people who have secrets they don't want getting out.
