It's likely that the play will have some romance, so the important question is will there will be any yuri romance? Probably not but I'm guessing that if there is yuri, it will look and feel more like Marimite than modern yuri. And what's more important, Yuu herself didn't get it. That's why in chapter 10 she admits to herself that she misunderstood Touko. It's only in chapter 10 when it downs on Yuu that Touko doesn't want to be loved, and it's definitely a surprise for her.
Touko should have upfront about it since the start. It doesn't matter if that's not a very nice thing to say. In fact, it's because it's not a very nice thing that she should have been clear since the get go.
It's sort of like if you want a casual relationship with someone. You have to be clear about it from the start, otherwise you could hurt that person's feelings. Well, it's mostly the "what the fuck did you just fucking say" face she made after Yuu simply told her that she was happy.
I don't know if that was supposed to be an intimidating stare, or it was just Touko being scared shitless because Yuu started showing some emotions towards her, but I can see why people are now thinking that she's pressuring her.

Yuu's fallen into this situation because she was interested in the first place. She was curious because in the beginning she thought that she and Touko were the same, and that's why Touko was the one she talked to when she needed to talk to someone about rejecting that boy.
Actually, she even resented Touko because she fell in love with her, thus "leaving her behind".
So in a sense, Yuu was always interested in Touko, and she didn't stay by her side out of blind kindness, but more because she was genuinely interested in her.

I actually think this scene is *Yuu* overreacting. Touko just is a bit confused, and Yuu takes it as a reference to what Yuu was already worried about.
The drama here is internal on both sides, that's the beauty of it. We don't need an evil ex or a nasty guy to create drama, our heroines manage to create some from poor communication all by themselves.
