The story would follow a military scientist who is attempting to fix a distorted timeline and fights with an assortment of soldiers, mercenaries, and researchers against an overwhelming enemy menace. The fighting and... other CG would be the rhythm sections where you need to maintain the score to prevent failing or dying.

Played Lilium Triangle today for something different, got diabetes but also got slightly disappointed about the game having a succubus and not making even the slightest use of that. It'll probably come. Like 99%. Steam suited, drama cds you can easily translate and sell for way too much. If yuri sells, this is a no-brainer. Although its quality and.. colorfulness may mean it'd be less successful. Not like it's bad or anything. But it's also nowhere near special. (feels like your average cute girls doing cute things anime with the occasional really fun scene and a lot of relatively boring ones)
As for which other ones.. that's hard. Sono Hana is too nukige to be honest. Perhaps the two nurses VNs. Perhaps someone can actually get the right to the Yatagarasu titles.. though with the dev being dead, it might be hard. I don't think there's anything else worthwhile, that's not just random short stuff. I think if this stuff really sells, it's probably more an impulse for Japan to produce a few more full-length yuri-ish titles you can put on Steam. Some bigger companies there already started shaping their products a bit for an easy western release. I can totally see something to that extend happening with yuri VNs as well. Probably not with something like Sono Hana, as its principle (lots yuri ero) is based around "not Steam suited". But devs like Kogado Studio may do something. Though Kogado Studio has been producing all ages yuri titles for many many years now, every now and then. So maybe not the best example. Perhaps Liar Soft is a better one. They could make another VN as well.

That said, Kamitsure isn't even that bad. It's.. average. The protag is pretty much best girl, the heroines on average disappointing, but I've seen worse. Don't think it's very Steam suited though, so I doubt it'd come. I also feel like the dev is semi-dead. And if you gonna deal with dead devs, you might as well get Resonance. That's better.

I'm still listening to the CDs (5th right now) and in general my opinion about Lilycle is that it has a great set of characters and a really amazing seiyuu team to boot, but the plot... I like diabetes as much as the next sister, but it just feels a little too empty with just a few scenes leading to an obvious confession and that's pretty much it. Like, I get that it's the whole point, but why go to those pretty astonishing lengths with voice actors and art then.
Still gonna read the game, though. Hopefully it elaborates on the relationships a bit more or at least has some more SoL scenes to enjoy.

It's more like some of the girls get together and.. do something. The whole cast is used, though of course not everyone in every scene. There are connections built up between them and so on. (like some befriend, obvious senpai/kouhai.. stuff like that)
Still, it's nothing special and after just a few scenes I can't really continue anymore as it also lacks focus. While not having a protagonist is one thing, it jumps around A LOT, which means you never get much of a flow going.
I gotta give it though, that some scenes can be really awesome. Mostly those including Natsuki. Pic related is the beginning of one of these. But in exchange you also have a lot of relatively boring ones. Also HIGH PITCHED voice acting. Especially the teacher is quite.. a thing.

And I know you don't post about all your research and efforts, but Kickstarting your first VN, that quickly outgrew your initial scope, while already thinking about and commissioning art for another one is a huge flag that you're going to burn out and be unable to finish either.

Sapphism would be dead on arrival for a number of reasons. It's arguably too old for the more casual consumer and the art would put a lot of people off. It's too explicit for Steam and of course there's the premise which revolves around catching a rapist.
It's a quirky work with a likable side cast but I could never see it doing well.
Wasn't sure if I should post this here or comic thread but..Apparently Sam is going to be back in the upcoming issues of the Tomb Raider comic. It's a VN with a crossdressing girl as a lead, which I feel is the biggest problem. That stuff is outdated as fuck. You barely get "looks like a guy" female leads in Yuri anymore, because people got a bit sick of that, as it also seemed a weird way of making Yuri "more straight" or whatever. Well, reasons don't matter, what matters is that it's 2016 and not 2001, so I feel like the "Yuri" it has wouldn't be very liked by a good amount of people nowadays.
Personally I'd never bother with it. The whole "heavy butch" thing getting less and less in the genre is something I quite approve of. For me the biggest appeal of Yuri is that it's two girls, without the immediate stigma of "roles" and whatever else in the relationship.

As outdated as it may seem I thought Anri was amusing enough, it was worth having her as a protagonist if only to see a character like Nozaki-kun's Kashima played completely straight. Personally I also don't really mind if a protagonist or heroine happens to have more masculine traits, but otherwise I do agree. Point is, there are ways to design a handsome female character without making her look like a faggot, even if she's a faggot.
